Hyatt Zilara Wedding – Featuring Custom Kleinfelds NYC Gown by Pnina Tornai

Cindy and Tom were married on May 20th in a stunning Hyatt Zilara wedding, with a ceremony and reception. Their Cancun wedding photography included the special day and a special Trash the Dress session.

A Tropical Engagement

Tom and Cindy got engaged on June 20, 2016 in the Bahamas.

Both are health care professionals: Tom, a pharmacist while Cindy is an eye doctor. These two are only children from parents who emigrated from other countries.

While they might have smaller families, their friends also seemed like extended members of their family. They had such strong ties with all of their wedding guests, making for a truly memorable event.

Bride Time at Hyatt Zilara

The day seemed to fly by. Vincent joined the ladies as they were getting ready with a full makeup and hair team in the bridal suite, right on time as they were finishing up to capture some of those last touches.

While getting ready, the bride had a special private moment as she read letters written by each of her bridesmaids, maid of honor, and groom. Cindy was overcome with love and emotion at this beautiful gesture.

Oh My, It’s a Pnina Tornai!

Cindy’s exquisite dress was made by none other than Pnina Tornai, a celebrated wedding gown designer people travel the world for. But Cindy’s dress was actually custom made for her after meeting with the Pnina designer at Kleinfelds in NYC!

Special touches and unique alterations were made to the top of the dress to suit the bride’s personal style, creating a one of a kind gown that she says she will love forever. It was absolutely stunning.

Of course, seeing Tom’s face as she walked down the aisle said it all.

A First Dance Surprise

Tom picked out their first dance song and surprised Cindy with his choice. The song he chose was “Everything I do, I do it for you,” by Bryan Adams.

Cindy was touched by this surprise and agreed it was a perfect choice.  You can see love light up their faces as they dance together. In keeping with special musical moments, the bride and groom chose a very un-traditional song and the guests absolutely loved it.

A Wedding That Was Practically Perfect In Every Way

When asked about her wedding, Cindy added,

I actually didn’t have a negative moment. I was on cloud 9 the entire event. I remember at one point while sitting at the sweetheart table just looking around the room at all these people who traveled so far to be there and just feeling so grateful and so loved. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing about that day.

Trash the (Other) Dress

After their amazing wedding, we met up with Cindy and Tom again for a “Trash the Dress” session in Riviera Maya. WOW, what a stunning couple. We just didn’t ever want to stop taking pictures. Between the wedding and the “Trash the Dress” session, it was very easy to get carried away.

Cindy and Tom, thank you again for inviting us to be a part of your gorgeous wedding. It was a privilege to photograph such a wonderful couple so very much in love. It was truly one of our favorite Hyatt Zilara weddings.
