Mixed Indian and Western Destination Wedding at Hotel Xcaret Mexico – Best Wedding ever WOW
Welcome cocktails
This 4-day mixed Indian and western Christian wedding extravaganza at the Stunning Hotel Xcaret Mexico began with the welcome cocktails event on the UAK Terrace.
There was so much positive energy and love in the air at this welcome party. Everyone arrived dressed in white, for what was supposed to be a low-key event, yet drinks were flowing, the Mexican Tacos were delicious and the group’s energy was so contagious that a full-on Indian Dance party soon kicked into full swing. WOHOO WHAT AN INCREDIBLE CELEBRATION THESE DAYS ARE GOING TO BE!!!Christian Ceremony and Dinner Reception
The Explanda Xerro was the stunning location for the Christian Wedding Ceremony, with the unique Xpiral Pyramid and Capilla de Todos Los Angels as the backdrop.
The reception and dinner was held in the Cuevas (Caves) restaurant.Batna and Maigaan
The Beach event location at Hotel Xcaret Mexico was the perfect colorful Caribbean backdrop for Rachel and Monit’s Batna ritual where the couple’s family and friends rub yellow turmeric paste upon their legs, faces, and arms + many other colorful pastes and powders. Colors flew all over the place before the entire group jumped into the turquoise sea to wash off and cool down.
The evening reception was held in the Hotel Ballroom closeby the Lobby area. The room was lavishly decorated with a huge dancefloor which worked perfectly for the many guests and family performances + the party rituals that followed to close out this most colorful wedding day in true traditional party style.Mehndi and Sangeet
The evening Mehndi and Sangeet reception was held in the Hotel Ballroom closeby the Lobby area. The room was lavishly decorated with a huge dancefloor which worked perfectly for the many guests and family performances + the party rituals that followed to close out this most colorful wedding day in true traditional party style.
Hindu Ceremony
The Hindu Ceremony took place at the Caleta Feugo location under a huge marquee tent to keep guests under shade for the 1 hour + ceremony that featured many colorful and interesting rituals.
Grand Reception
The Xpiral Ballroom was the venue for the wedding’s Grand Reception which was again lavishly decorated. The traditional Indian banquette was super delicious, Monit’s speech touched everyone as did our surprise SAME DAY EDIT VIDEO presentation. Yet clearly it was the Final DANCE-OFF Bride Rachel’s family vs Groom Monit’s family that was the energy highlight of the night. Such a fitting and electric finale to what was the most amazing wedding that I have ever played a part in.All Star Team
