Black Tie Xcaret Park Chapel of Guadalupe Wedding and Grand Coral beach club reception
A Playa del Carmen Wedding Fiesta
Diana and Dindo hosted a sophisticated black tie affair on November 21st, with a ceremony at the Chapel of Guadalupe Xcaret and Grand Coral Beach Club wedding reception.
The couple took full advantage of the local Playa del Carmen scenery with impeccable location selections for their occasion, ranging from the historical Xcaret Park to the exclusive Grand Coral Beach Club. Naturally, this led to rich, colorful photos that told the romantic story of their culturally-inspired destination wedding.
The Ceremony
It was a fairytale wedding that my second shooter, Gon Accogli, and I truly enjoyed capturing. Things kicked off at the Paradisus Playa Del Carmen while the bride and groom were getting ready.
Vows were exchanged on a wooden dock surrounded by water inside the magical cave-like chamber Chapel of Guadalupe Xcaret, followed by a beautiful entrance at the famous Xcaret Park and a pretty spectacular photo shoot under the Day of the Dead Cemetery.
The Reception
The venue they had picked for their reception was absolutely perfect. They wanted a beach view but didn’t want a reception in the sand and the Grand Coral Beach Club gave them the best of both worlds! It was intimate and serene, and it matched the feeling of the day perfectly.
The Highlight: A Family’s Love
When you’re working behind a camera, it’s easy to get caught up in the romance and beauty of a wedding day, but what really caught our eye was the deep love shared between a father and daughter.
The most touching moment of the day was when Dindo gave his vows to their daughter, Jocelyn, who later stole the show during a father-daughter dance routine performed during the reception.
This wonderful couple fully shared their moment with Jocelyn, making it more than a union of man and wife, but of a complete family.
