I met Shaun and Emily 10 months prior to their wedding when they came to visit Riviera Maya in search of their dream destination wedding resort. The couple visited various resorts throughout Cancun and Riviera Maya before settling on Hotel Xcaret Mexico. Following the photos, we sat down for a beer together at Club de la Cerveza. We really hit it off! WARNING!!! While this colorful, fun, musical boat tour is a blast, you and your guests will likely drink a little too much tequila. So don’t schedule this event the night before your wedding! Wedding at Chapel of Todos Los Angeles – Hotel Xcaret Mexico
The Heavens opened minutes before the Roman Catholic Wedding Ceremony. Luckly the couple and their guests were all either under the cover of the Xpiral Pyramid or inside the Chapel. The incredible 360 degrees views of the tropical micro storm passing over the Riviera Maya coastline and jungle was awe-inspiring!

A short walk down from the Chapel the Xpiral Terrance and Ballroom was the perfect, easy access venue for Shaun and Emily who’s group of loved ones included several older guests with mobility challenges.

A couple of days after the wedding venues and when the lion share of wedding guests had returned home, I took Shaun and Emily on a stunning adventure to a beautiful secluded beach, private cenote, cave and jungle for a truly unique, once in a lifetime romantic experience.
