Huatulco Weddings: Barcelo Destination Wedding & La Bocana Surf Trash the Dress

Discover the magic of Huatulco weddings through this captivating portfolio of Alicia and Sean’s destination celebration at Barcelo Huatulco. From idyllic beach ceremonies to adventurous surf trash-the-dress shoots, see why weddings in Huatulco are perfect for couples seeking authentic Mexican charm.

Canadians Alicia and Sean Steve brought their loved ones from Canada to the beautiful sleepy pacific coastal town of Huatulco in Oaxaca, Mexico, to witness their beach wedding and share in a week of relaxation, group activities and fun in the sun! While other popular tourist destinations in Mexico such as Cancun, Riviera Maya, Vallarta and Cabo have grown to become massive tourist hotspots with hundreds of corporate resorts, Huatulco has not. The locals here did not sell their lands, preferring to keep most of their beautiful bays for themselves. As a result, Huatulco retains its true authenticity, personality, natural beauty, and identity.

Idyllic Beach Wedding Ceremony in the Gorgeous Bay at Barcelo Huatulco

Isn’t this a stunning Pacific Bay beach Wedding setting? My jaw dropped when I 1st laid eyes on it. Huatulco is such an authentic destination with its 7 bays and surrounding fishing villages, it’s a true little paradise! Barcelo is one of 4 large corporate resorts that have their own stunningly beautiful bay.

For Huatulco weddings, Barcelo Huatulco stands out with its private bay views, making it ideal for intimate ceremonies. Couples love the blend of luxury and local culture, ensuring memorable photos that capture the essence of Oaxaca’s Pacific coast.
