Oh, the way Francisco looked at Mabel during their vows—tears glistening in his eyes as they promised forever in that sacred chapel—it was the kind of moment that reminds me why I love what I do at Pixan Photography. Capturing soul-deep connections in Riviera Maya’s enchanting landscapes, where ancient cenotes and turquoise waters frame your love story, is my passion. Fransisco and Mabel’s celebration at Hotel Xcaret Mexico was a heartfelt tapestry of joy, tradition, and whimsy—a place where eco-archaeological wonders meet modern luxury, creating memories that still bring a smile to my face. From their emotional ceremony at the De Todos Los Angeles Chapel to a reception alive with swings, floating candles, and an explosive hora loca, every detail whispered “this is us,” culminating in a private cenote trash-the-dress shoot that felt like pure magic.

The day dawned with anticipation in the resort’s spacious suites—Mabel surrounded by her bridesmaids in soft pink robes, giggling over snacks from Yadhi as Styling Trio worked their airbrush magic, transforming her into a vision in her Kitty Chen Couture gown sparkling with Ellee Couture Boutique jewelry. Fransisco, in his dapper suit, shared quiet laughs with his groomsmen, the ocean breeze carrying whispers of the adventure ahead. Bouquets and boutonnieres from Corazon Luxury Weddings arrived like bursts of color, perfectly curated by wedding planner Claudia Solis, whose passion for Riviera Maya magic since 2012 made everything feel effortless, with Yellow Umbrella ensuring seamless travel for all.

Guests gathered at the Lobby Bar before being escorted to the chapel, where the bridal party lined up for a ceremony that stole my breath—the incredible vows exchanged amid floral arches, with Fransisco and Mabel pouring their hearts out in words that had us all wiping away tears. The young sons’ speeches were the emotional pinnacle, their innocent voices sharing stories of family love that touched every soul in the room, creating moments I’ll never forget as I captured the raw, unfiltered joy.

The reception was a whirlwind of enchantment—elaborate decorations like swings draped in blooms and candles floating in water pools, a huge cake towering as the centerpiece, a massive disc ball twinkling overhead, and live painting by Juliana Casali immortalizing the night. Drums in Paradise kicked off the hora loca with costumes and confetti, DJ Effe kept the dance floor pulsing, and Lacabinamx’s photobooth captured candid laughs—all blending into a first dance that was pure poetry, Fransisco and Mabel swaying under the stars as if the world faded away.

The adventure lingered with a post-wedding trash-the-dress in a private cenote—splashing in crystal-clear waters under ethereal light, gowns flowing like dreams, connecting them to Riviera Maya’s mystical spirit in ways that made my camera sing.
