Tony and Craig's Joyful Same-Sex Wedding at Le Kliff and Barceló Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Love knows no boundaries, especially in the sun-drenched paradise of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico—where vibrant culture, stunning coastlines, and inclusive vibes create the perfect canvas for a same-sex celebration. As a destination wedding photographer specializing in LGBTQ weddings in Mexico, I was thrilled to capture Tony and Craig’s joyful day, blending heartfelt moments at the cliffside Le Kliff restaurant with relaxed luxury at the all-inclusive Barceló Puerto Vallarta resort. This Canadian couple’s gay wedding embraced Puerto Vallarta’s welcoming spirit, with ocean views, colorful street art backdrops, and tropical energy making every photo burst with happiness and authenticity.

The festivities kicked off with pre-wedding adventures around Puerto Vallarta’s lively streets and beaches, where Tony and Craig posed amid vibrant murals, held hands on sandy shores, and shared laughs in playful masks—capturing their fun-loving bond against the city’s iconic art and azure waves. Barceló Puerto Vallarta, a five-star beachfront resort overlooking Banderas Bay, provided the ideal base with its lush gardens, infinity pools, and customizable wedding packages like Mint Breeze ($2,339 for 20 guests) or Strawberry Passion ($3,395 for 25 guests), including seaside ceremonies, sparkling wine amenities, and justice of the peace services for symbolic or legal unions. The resort’s versatile venues, from oceanfront gazebos to elegant ballrooms, accommodated their intimate group photos and relaxed vibes, with the Caribbean Sea framing romantic portraits that glowed in golden-hour light.

The ceremony transitioned to Le Kliff, a dramatic cliffside restaurant just 25 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, perched amid tropical gardens with panoramic ocean vistas—perfect for up to 200 guests in a romantic, inclusive atmosphere. Tony and Craig exchanged vows under a floral arch or pavilion, surrounded by swaying palms and crashing waves, with emotional family toasts and sparklers adding a magical touch. Le Kliff’s complete wedding packages handle everything from civil/symbolic ceremonies to banquets with gourmet cuisine, open bars, music, flowers, and a dedicated bride’s suite (adaptable for any couple), ensuring seamless celebrations in this LGBTQ-friendly venue.

The reception continued the festivities, perhaps blending Barceló’s beachside elegance with Le Kliff’s cliff views, featuring neon signs, mariachi performers, and a dance floor alive with energy under string lights. Colorful tablescapes with vibrant florals and ocean backdrops captured the couple’s first dance and joyful group moments, embodying Puerto Vallarta’s reputation for warm, inclusive weddings.

Tony and Craig’s wedding was a vibrant testament to love at Le Kliff and Barceló Puerto Vallarta, from street art portraits to cliffside vows and beachside bliss. If you’re planning a same-sex destination wedding in Mexico with LGBTQ-friendly venues, tropical romance, and all-inclusive magic, reach out—your Puerto Vallarta fairy tale awaits! 🏳️‍🌈🌊💍
